The University of Ottawa Law & Technology Journal is proud to showcase images in volume 3 by Kenneth G. Libbrecht, Professor of Physics and Chairman of the Physics Department, California Institute of Technology. The image featured on the cover is a snowflake from Fairbanks, Alaska, photographed with a special-purpose photo-microscope in 2004. The clear ice crystals were enhanced by the use of multi-coloured lights.
